First up, I have to quickly present mSeven Software’s application mSecure. It is a password manager that can be used to securely store login credentials, credit card data, notes, and more. mSecure can be used on Windows or OS X-powered desktops; it can also be used on mobile devices powered by iOS, Android, or Windows.
With that out of the way, I will now focus on mBackup. This is a tool that allows you to make an independent backup of your mSecure data. mBackup can import, export, back up, and restore data to and from mSecure for iOS and Android.

mBackup is available for Microsoft’s Windows operating system and for Apple’s Mac OS X. On the Windows front, it must be mentioned that support is provided for all editions from Windows XP up to Windows 8. On the Mac front, it must be mentioned that support is provided for any edition from OS X 10.5 Leopard onward. Installing mBackup on a PC or on a Mac is an equally simple process.

All the data imported into mBackup is presented as a list on the main panel of the application’s interface. Importing data is done from the File Menu in the upper left hand corner. From the Import submenu you can choose to import the following: CSV, mSecure Backup, SplashID VID, DatavizPasswords Plus CSV, Handy Safe 1.2 XML.

Security oriented users will be glad to know that the data imported into mBackup is stored securely. You see, the password you select when you're done installing mBackup and you launch it for the first time, is used for several purposes. The password is used to encrypt data imported into mBackup, it is used to grant access to mBackup, and it is required for restoring the data to mSecure on your device.

mBackup is free software. mSecure is not; it is free to use for a trial period of 30 days.

mBackup is free, it provides multiple import options, it is password protected, and it works as advertised.

Pros

mBackup is available for Windows and Mac OS X; installing the application on a PC or Mac will take little time and effort. Access to mBackup is password protected. Multiple import options can be easily accessed. Use mBackup to create an independent backup of mSecure data. Use mBackup to import, export, back up, and restore data to and from mSecure for iOS and Android. mBackup is free software.

Cons

None that I could think of.
